School Notes

Picture day. Wednesday, September 16. About a third of the envelopes are back, which the office describes as ahead of pace and meaningless.

Attendance. Back to about 97 percent Monday. Buses within five minutes of posted times.

Conferences. October 15 and 16; sign-up sheets out the first week of October.

The Spelldown. Sixty-one entries, grades 3–6, Friday the 25th at 6:30 in the gym. Study lists went home September 2; a second copy is available at the office for the eleven families who have asked.

Cross country. Home meet Saturday, 10 a.m., pavilion course. Coach Koski needs four volunteers at the chute and two more girls on the roster, in that order of urgency and the reverse order of importance.

Homecoming week. Dress days Monday through Thursday the week of the 21st; the list goes home Friday. The parade is at 4 on the 25th and the route is unchanged.
