Lost & Found

LOST — STATE FAIR. One cooler, green, bad hinge, believed left in a parking lot in St. Paul on the 29th. I am aware of how this sounds. I would still like it back.

FOUND. A stuffed animal of uncertain species and a plastic pig, both at the Daybreak, both since Labor Day. The pig has been claimed twice by people who did not lose a pig.

Wanted & Services

WANTED. Somebody to take the ladder back from the brewery. It has been leaning on that building since August 15 and the Holts say it is not theirs and the sign painter says it is not his.

YARD WORK. Responsible seventh-grader. Leaves begin in about three weeks and I am booking now, which my mother says is called initiative and my father says is called reading the paper.

SUNDAY SCHOOL. Begins Sunday at First Lutheran, all grades staffed for the first time since 2017, which the education committee would like everyone to notice and which it will not mention again.

QUILT. “Chain of Lakes” hangs in the First Lutheran basement through October, back from the State Fair. The basement is open weekdays; the light is worse than St. Paul and the coffee is better.
