Thu., Oct. 8. Candidate forum, Legion hall, 7 p.m.
Second week of October. Docks out at Loon Ridge; the resort closes the third week. The stop sign is scheduled for installation this month.
Thu., Oct. 15–16. Parent-teacher conferences. Sign-up sheets the first week of October.
Sat., Oct. 3. Fall story time continues; the library is also taking names for the winter reading program, which Mrs. Aune has been asked about eleven times since August and about which she has said only that it will happen.
Third week of October. Loon Ridge closes for the season. Renée Fontaine notes the docks come out the week before and that she has never once had help she did not have to ask for twice.
