Friday. Post 162 at home vs. Pine City, first pitch at dusk, under — in all likelihood — the same two light towers.

Saturday. Memorial gathering for Gordy Lindstrom, Legion hall, afternoon (see Public Notices). Stories encouraged; tools, per the family, left at home.

Saturday, July 4 — Independence Day. Land parade north on Main, lineup 9 a.m. Boat parade off the Loon Lake landing, noon. Potluck and program in the park, 5 p.m. Fireworks over Big Pelican at dusk — no-wake requested, for the chicks.
