Our View: Let the Dock Committee Be a Dock Committee

A dock committee should be a dock committee: temporary, practical, and done when the docks are sorted. Misquah has a habit of forming committees that live long enough to require refreshments.

We need less ceremony around questions that can be answered with a shoreline map, a tape measure, and two people willing to say no.

Let the committee meet, hear the permits, make a list, and then mercifully become history. The chairs can be returned to the Fire Hall closet.
