Picture Day Went, and the Retake Date Is Already Set
Wednesday’s pictures were taken in four hours. Retakes are October 21, which the office notes is earlier in the year than it has ever scheduled them.
MISQUAH — School pictures were taken Wednesday in the gym between 8:30 and 12:30, grade by grade, in the order the office has used since before anybody currently employed there arrived.
About two-thirds of the order envelopes had come back by picture day, which the office describes as unusually good and attributes to having sent them home the first week of September rather than the second.
Retakes are Wednesday, October 21. The office has scheduled them earlier than usual on the theory that the reasons for a retake are known within a week and that waiting until November helps nobody.
One kindergartner blinked in all four frames and will be first in line October 21. Her teacher reports she is aware and considers it an appointment.
The photographer has done this district since 2016 and takes four frames per child and no more. Proofs go home the week of October 12.
