News tips
Send the basic facts, a contact person and a telephone number if the newsroom will need to call back. A tip does not have to be written like a story.
Calendar & events
Send date, time, place, sponsoring group, cost if any and a contact. Calendar notices are free.
Obituaries
Families and funeral homes may submit notices through the site or to the office. We verify names and service details before publication.
Photos
Send the largest original image you have. Include who is pictured, where and when it was made, and the photographer’s name.
Deadline
Monday at 10 a.m. for the Tuesday paper. Breaking public-safety information should be sent when it happens.
